This is exacly the question Dr. Nicholas Thompson, a 1997 graduate of University of Oregon School of Dentistry, and practicing Dentist, sought to answer for his own practice.
After searching for an online scheduling solution for his practice, Dr. Thompson was disappointed to find the industry lacking any real solution. So, in 2006, he joined forces with Jim Young, a 20 year veteran of the Information Technology industry, and together they created MyPatientScheduler to make online appointment scheduling a reality for Medical and Dental practices.
Medicus Software LLC was founded in 2007 to develope and support the MyPatientScheduler product. Today, Medicus Software continues to advance the MyPatientScheduler offering and support its growing customer base.
Dr. Nick is a practicing Dentist on Bainbridge Island, Washington. His role as Chief Product Adviser provides us with industry incite and guidance that you cannot put a price on! Dr. Nick's office has been using the MyPatientScheduler service since its first release in 2007. The proverbial saying "eating your own dog food" applies here!
